Chris Behrens - Mather Group Advisor
Chris Behrens has provided administrative oversight to Chicago’s Mather Group since 2019, when he joined the firm as its chief executive officer and a member of its board of directors. In less than four years, Chris Behrens rapidly grew the firm by leveraging the opportunities presented by evolving macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions. He remains with the Mather Group as an advisor.
A graduate of the University of Illinois, Mr. Behrens holds a bachelor of science in marketing. He also has several professional certifications and affiliations, including a Six Sigma Black Belt and membership in the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Private Directors Association.
In addition, Mr. Behrens gained valuable executive management experience early in his career as a sales and marketing director with Official Airline Guides in Oak Brook, Illinois, and a senior vice president of sales and client marketing with GE Financial Assurance in Schaumburg, Illinois. He served as president and chief executive officer of the digital marketing services company SourceLink and the software services company ETRAC Corporation.
